The Hot Springs Jazz Society continues their collaboration with the Garland County Library, 1427 Malvern Avenue, to sponsor the America’s Art Form programs on the 2nd Wednesday of each month with musical and educational components.

March’s program, “Improvisation, the Essence of Jazz”, will feature Henderson State University’s Dr. Rick Dimond on keyboards and key musical students Julius Carcamo on sax and bass, Austin Murberger on guitar and bass and Kiki Valdivia on acoustic and electric violin.

The Jazz Society scholarship program continues to send music students to jazz summer camp and present jazz education in local communities, including the free outdoor JazzFest on Labor Day weekend.

This program is free to the community on Wednesday, March 8 and starts at 6pm in the Garland County Library’s Auditorium. You may bring an unbreakable container of a non-alcoholic beverage.
