John Calvin Brewer: Guitar/Vocals. John has been on the Mid South music scene going on 21yrs, playing festivals & juke joints throughout the South. Born in Hot Springs, John was raised on classic rock & blues music. John has opened for great acts such as Coco Montoya, Janiva Magness, CCR, Los Lonely Boys, & Tesla. A semifinalists in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, the band competed against bands from all over the world (about 300), and made it into the top 40.

Shannon Sabbatini: Bass/ Vocals. Shannon is originally from Greenville, MS. Shannon & John Calvin have been together since 2002. Shannon has been the backbone of the band until present. Shannon also attended Middle Tennessee State University music school near Nashville, TN where he honed his chops with the best of the best.

Rafael Gayol: Drums/Precession. Rafael is a world touring drummer from Malibu, CA. His musical credits include Leonard Cohen, the band “AhHa”, Robbie Robertson (The Band), and many more. The first show Rafael played with the John Calvin band was after performing with Cohen to a sold out house in Sydney Australia.

America’s Art Form Series every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Garland County Library auditorium sponsored by the Hot Springs Jazz Society and the Garland County Library.

The programs are diverse, showcasing the musical talents of the Central Arkansas musical community including Jazz, Classical, Traditional, Blues and American Pop.
